get over on the liver which splits them into ketone bodies and the most important
 ketone bodies are

Beta-hydroxybutyrate
Acetone

these bodies are released by the liver to the bloodstream and from there it reaches
 peripheral tissues and also brain where they are used as fuel to provide energy,(3)

for short durations may be 3-to 6 -months, then you can return to a standard diet, if necessary
or you find it ok you can again go back after some gap
